Popular Nigerian singer Portable confronted popular actor Odunlade Adekola a few hours ago immediately he saw the video showing Odunlade hugging Portable’s 4th baby mama, Ashabi Simple.
The video that sparked reactions online, showed Ashabi meeting Odunlade and hugging him. In the video, the popular Nigerian actor Odunlade jokingly asked if Ashabi had sought Portable’s permission before hugging him.
Portable reacted immediately when he saw the video online and he expressed his displeasure, stating that people focus on negative aspects about him while ignoring the positive.
The singer addressed Odunlade in a private message, making it clear that he doesn’t joke about his family and found the actor’s remarks inappropriate. According to Portable, he emphasized his respect for Odunlade’s family and sought clarification about the comment.

“My brother, good evening. What you said in that video, I am just seeing this now… Ashabi Simple, please I respect my home, I have a home, and I think you know that. Don’t use it to make a movie. Why would you say she needs to ask me before coming? I can never disrespect your home. Your family is my family. That’s why I am coming to your DM. I do not play with my home. Why would you speak like that?”
Odunlade responded respectfully, reassuring Portable of his intentions:
“My brother, good evening. I am just seeing this now… I love you, and I think you know that. I can never disrespect your home or disrespect you. Your family is my family. OGO NLA Reign forever.”
